Whacky? or Whimsical?

August 16, 2013

It was fun trying a more abstract style of painting instead of my usual mountain scene or forest.

I like it because to me it was a whacky experiment. My brother was kind enough to call it whimsical. Let me know which word you think fits best.
The 16 x 20″ acrylic is titled: THE BLACK HOLE OF ORANGE FEATHERS.

Hi Pat, I think “Feather Vortex” is probably a better title than my cumbersome “Black Hole of Orange Feathers”

Hello Jim, excellent works! When I look at the drawing I see an electromagnetic field of feathers. Following the right hand rule, grabbing the feathers in the “black hole”, the direction of your thumb indicates the flow of the feathers. So……my input would be to title would be “Feather Field”.
