Launching Ads for Terror at Trinity

June 8, 2020

With all the demonstrations and destruction going on in our cities I thought it might be time to revive interest in my novel Terror at Trinity. Google ads will bring searchers here to learn more about the two kinds of terror: that caused by oneself, the terror of guilt and shame, and terror caused by a threat from someone else. Pastor Paul Walker must deal with the effects of a murder in his church building. The police investigation is halting at best. The members are upset and afraid. The murderer is finally caught. A few years later, a group of terrorists threaten to blow up the church on a Sunday morning, killing worshipers, unless their demands are met. To order Terror at Trinity, click on

My second project this summer is preparing for an art show in Silverton. AMAZING SCISSORCUTS by Jim Bornzin will be on display at the Borland Gallery in the city park, September 4 – 27. During the pandemic shut-in I have been cutting like crazy. New works will be for sale, along with books of poetry, reflections, short stories, and novels. Your help with the show, and/or your attendance will be greatly appreciated.

BLESSED ARE THE HUNGRY was the most fun I’ve ever had writing. The quirky characters came to life and their interactions brought smiles to my face as I wrote. This is just between you and me . . . don’t tell anyone . . . the young artist, Hunter Schlewitz, secretly does knitting. Ssshh! He doesn’t want anyone to know.

I’m grateful to my son Joel for teaching me just a little about online marketing which I used in the book. And Bob and Clara Gerber are the elderly couple inspired by my uncles and aunts, Bob and Adeline, George and Verna (who could be quite bossy at times).

The Knitting Basket and other scissorcuts can be seen in my new book Blessed Are The Hungry.
